Mel C has hinted Victoria Beckham is ready to reunite with the Spice Girls.
The fashion designer snubbed the band’s comeback tour in 2019, but Mel C has revealed Victoria wants to perform with them if they secure a headline slot at Glastonbury.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine this morning, the 47-year-old admitted they “constantly talk about” reuniting.
Mel said: “When we did the stadium shows in 2019, we were blown away by how much love there still is for the Spice Girls and how it did affect a huge amount of people, a young generation, so positively.”
Host Ranvir Singh then suggested a reunion performance at Glastonbury, and Mel replied: “Oh my god that’s the dream.”
After Ranvir asked, “All of you?” the singer replied: “Between you and I, I know Mrs Beckham would love to do Glastonbury!”
“It’s been rumoured a lot, but we do constantly talk about getting back on stage because the shows in 2019 were incredible,” she continued. “We’d love to do it again – once the world allows.”
The news comes after the Spice Girls released their first song since 2007.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut single Wannabe, the iconic girl band released a previously unheard track called Feed Your Love.
The song features the vocals of all five bandmates – including Melanie C, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, and Victoria Beckham.
