Mel B reportedly wants to end her legal battle with former nanny, Lorraine Gilles by settling out of court.
The singer previously claimed that Lorraine was a “homewrecker” and alleged that she fell pregnant with Mel’s ex husband, Stephen Belafonte’s child.
The former au pair hit back at the claims and sued the Spice Girls star for libel, but The Sun has reported that the mother-of-three wants to settle the case outside of court.
“The court fight with Lorraine Gilles is just not a priority for Mel anymore, she has other – more important – things to focus on,” a source told the publication.
“Mel’s legal team are now keen to get to the table and work on an agreement and walk away.”
Sources added that the 43-year-old is reportedly concerned about the cost of legal fees as she prepares to set out on the Spice Girls’ comeback tour.
