Meghan Markle’s father Thomas has been spotted reading a book about Britain.

Ahead of Meghan’s wedding to British royal family member Prince Harry, otherwise known as Prince Henry of Wales, Thomas was spotted reading the 1990 book Images of Britain: A Pictorial Journey Through History.

Meghan’s dad was pictured reading the book while sitting inside a Starbucks in Rosarito Beach on Mexico’s Baja California peninsula, where he currently lives.

The book actually contains a section on Windsor Castle, which is home to St George’s Chapel – where Meghan will marry Harry next month.

Although there was speculation that Thomas Markle wouldn’t attended Meghan’s wedding, The Sun has since reported that he will walk his daughter down the aisle.

A source said, “Thomas [Senior] is overjoyed to be beside his little girl on the day she becomes a princess—even if he has to battle his demons to get there.”

“He’s not exactly thrilled at facing the world’s glare. He lives a reclusive life in Mexico. But nothing will stop him from having Meghan on his arm for the big day.”

Meghan and Harry’s wedding will take place on May 19 at St. George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
