Meghan Markle’s best friend Jessica Mulroney has slammed her critics as “racist bullies”.

Over the past few days, a number of celebrities have spoken out to defend the Duchess of Sussex – as she continues to be bashed by royal critics and the press.

Now, the former actress’ closest friend Jessica has spoken out to support her.

Taking to Instagram, Jessica posted a message which read: “When someone faces unfair criticism, you call it out. When that person is your friend and family, you call those critics what they truly are. Shame on you, you racist bullies.”

Jessica captioned the post: “3 years of underserved hate and abuse. It’s enough.”

The stylist also re-posted a Twitter thread from actress Jameela Jamil, which read: “Ugh. Dear England and English press, just say you hate her because she’s black, and him for marrying a black woman and be done with it God dammit.”

“Your bullying is so embarrassing and obvious. You’ve all lost your marbles. It’s 2019. Grow up.”

She continued, “And ALSO, it’s not safe for us to be on the same planes as royals or presidents, you absolute muppets. They are prime targets for kidnap and sometimes assassination. It’s in the interest of us civilians to not be endangered by proximity to people in such powerful positions.”

A host of well-known figures spoke out to defend Meghan this week, after her and Prince Harry faced backlash for taking a private jet to France.

Royal critics slammed the pair for using a private jet, as they have both spoken out about climate change and protecting our environment.

However, the pair’s close friend Elton John later revealed that they flew on his own private jet – and he made sure their flight was carbon neutral by making an “appropriate contribution” to Carbon Footprintâ„¢.
