Meghan Markle stuns in Prada at the Queen’s Young Leaders Awards in Buckingham Palace

The Duchess was joined by her husband Prince Harry

Meghan Markle looked radiant as she attended the Queen’s Young Leaders Awards in Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.

The former actress sat alongside her new husband Prince Harry and grandmother-in-law Queen Elizabeth, as the royal family honoured young people across the commonwealth who show leadership and service in their communities.

Opting for another light pink number, the Duchess of Sussex wore a cap-sleeve midi dress by Prada, which she teamed with a pair of black Aquazzura pumps.

After videos from the event surfaced online, fans noticed that Meghan and Harry showed no PDA, which is odd for the newly-married couple who are usually quite affectionate – even at official engagements.

Fans noted that the pair barely touched at the Queen’s Young Leaders Awards, but it appears that there’s a reason for this, as this particular event was a lot more formal.

Royal commentator Victoria Arbiter told BAZAAR.com, “As such, it was not the appropriate forum for Harry and Meghan to be laying on the PDA.”

“The couple will have been keen to pay tribute to the youngsters in attendance and for the focus of the evening to remain on their stellar achievements.

“There will of course be engagements in the future in which hand holding and affection is perfectly acceptable, but tonight, in the presence of the Queen, the couple showed the dignity and respect such an occasion affords.”
