Meghan Markle secretly recorded a sweet voice message for a young fan, and got Prince Harry to play it to her during an official engagement.
According to The Nottingham Post, 14-year-old Aleyna Genc has ben writing and receiving letters from the Duchess of Sussex for two years.
They struck up a friendship after the teenager, who battled a brain tumour when she was a child, reached out to Meghan after watching her UN Women advert.
Aleyna told the newspaper: “I wanted to tell her that she had inspired me and so I sent her a letter. We have been sending letters back and forth ever since then.”

Prince Harry happened to visit Aleyna’s school, the Nottingham Academy, on Thursday and got the chance to meet Meghan’s pen pal face-to-face.
Aleyna was disappointed that Meghan wasn’t there with him, but after their initial meeting, she said Harry guided her away from the crowd and played a special voicemail from his wife.
She said: “I have been sending Meghan letters for around two years now and she sent me a voice note which I got to listen to on Harry’s phone. She basically wished me well.”
On meeting the Duke of Sussex, she added: “It was amazing. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I have already got to do it. He hugged me at the end too. He is so different to what I expected.”
