This is what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have asked for instead of wedding gifts

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have requested charitable donations instead of wedding gifts.

Kensington Palace released a statement confirming the benevolent gesture.

“Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle are incredibly grateful for the goodwill shown to them since the announcement of their engagement and are keen that as many people as possible benefit from this generosity of spirit.”

“The couple have therefore asked that anyone who might wish to mark the occasion considers making a donation to charity, rather than sending a wedding gift.”

The couple who are due to wed on the 19th of May have also chosen seven charities that are close to their hearts which they would love if people to donate to.

“The couple has personally selected seven organisations they’d like people to support”.

Some of the charities include one that deal with for homelessness, sport for social change, women’s empowerment, conservation, the environment, HIV and the Armed Forces.

According to E! “The organizations include CHIVA (Children’s HIV Association), Crisis, the Myna Mahila Foundation, Scotty’s Little Soldiers, StreetGames, Surfers Against Sewage and The Wilderness Foundation UK.”

New intimate details of the royal romance were released when Meghan’s former agent spilled gossip about their first date, first holiday and nicknames.
