Meghan Markle pays tribute to son Archie during surprise Wimbledon appearance

The Duchess of Sussex turned up to support her friend Serena Williams

Meghan Markle subtly paid tribute to her son Archie during her surprise appearance at Wimbledon on Thursday.

The new mum turned out to support her friend Serena Williams, who was playing her second round match against Slovenian Kaja Juvan on Court One.

To avoid causing a stir, the Duchess of Sussex arrived after play had already started, and was joined by two of her old school friends Genevieve Hillis and Lindsay Roth – who both attended Northwestern University with Meghan.

The 37-year-old looked stunning as always, opting for a casual chic outfit.

According to meghansmirror.com, the former actress wore a white pinstriped L’Agence ‘Brea’ blazer, which she paired with a black t-shirt, skinny blue jeans, a white and black Madewell hat, and FINLAY London Henrietta sunglasses.

Completing the look, Meghan wore the sweetest gold pendant with the letter A for “Archie”.

Meghan’s appearance at Wimbledon marked her first public outing without Prince Harry since welcoming their son back in May.

She stepped out to support her friend just days before hosting a private christening for Archie this Saturday.
