Megan Barton-Hanson claimed that James Arthur is “a serial DM-er”.
The singer was recently linked to Jesy Nelson, but quickly shut down the rumours and said that they were just “friends”, before she was spotted holidaying in Dublin with Chris Hughes.
Megan has now claimed that James slid into her DMs, as she appeared on Capital London this morning and played a game on-air in which she read out private messages from her Instagram.
When the Love Island star scrolled through her messages and stopped on the singer’s DM, she said: “I’m not gonna repeat it. But is it really a shock? He’s like a serial DM-er”.
The reality star also revealed that Amy Schumer is a fan of hers and of Love Island, as she was asked to stop on her twentieth DM and said that it was from the Hollywood actress.
“So she follows me, I found that out and was like ‘oh my god!’ and then sent her a massive fan girl DM and was like ‘oh my god, I love you so much.'”
“And this was her reply: ‘Oh man, that means so much to me, thank you Megan. I absolutely loved you on the show, I’m rooting for you.'”
Megan also spoke about her split from Wes and admitted that she has blocked the 20-year-old on all social media platforms.
“I think for me, because there wasn’t like a sole reason why we broke up, it wasn’t like I cheated or he cheated or anything majorly bad, we still loved each other, it was just circumstances, priorities, age, all of that.”
“So for me, I just needed time to heal so I had to block him from everything just to focus on me, because I know what I’m like.”
“If I was in that new flat by myself and I was a bit lonely I’d be like ‘Wes, what you up…’ I can’t keep going back. It didn’t work for a reason, so I just need to be strong.”
