Danny Jones’ wife Georgia has reportedly “moved out of family home” just days after the singer issued a public apology over a video of him sharing an alleged “drunken kiss” with Maura Higgins.
The McFly singer and the former Love Island star raised eyebrows earlier this month when they were filmed supposedly kissing at a BRIT Awards afterparty.
Although Maura is understood to be single at the moment, Danny has been married to model Georgia Horsley since 2014, and they share a seven-year-old son named Cooper together.
Despite his public apology, The Sun reported that Georgia has taken some time away and moved into a friend’s home.
The source reported that despite the pair still being married, they are “not together.”
“She is working out what she wants to do. She has been hugely hurt and embarrassed by everything and told Danny she needed to get away.”
They added: “Georgia is no pushover and Danny knows as much, they are still talking about how they can move forwards.”
Earlier this week, in a statement shared on Instagram, Danny wrote: “Hello everyone, Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but l’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.”
“I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.”
“I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.”

After their alleged kiss was caught on camera, both Maura and Danny have been subject to serious backlash, with many furious for the 38-year-old’s wife.
On Tuesday morning, Georgia broke her silence by posting a photo on Instagram of the couple’s son.
She did not address the recent scandal surrounding her husband but simply captioned the post with a single blue heart.

However, an array of her friends commented on the post to show their support for her during this turbulent time.
Sarah Louise Merrygold, wife of JLS star Aston Merrygold, wrote: “Little dude. sending you all my love.”
Anna Whitehouse, author of Where’s my happy ending?, also commented: “Love you darling. We’ve got you.”
While Chessie King added: “Absolutely adore you, we’re alllll rallied round you.”
Comments on Georgia’s post have since been turned off.
According to The Mirror, those close to Maura have urged her to be strong during this “horrendous” time, that has come with “horrific” trolling on her social media.
The TV presenter is reportedly “really struggling” with the “relentless” hate she has been receiving online.
One pal told the publication: “Maura is a tough character but the reaction to events of the last week has been utterly relentless, and it’s fair to say it’s taken its toll. She has found all of this very difficult to navigate.”

“She appreciates she’s in the public eye and there is extra interest around her, but the abuse is off the charts, and people need to calm down. She is trying to treat things as business as usual, but it’s hard.”
Another source went on to reveal that Danny and Maura regret their behaviour and have insisted that the “kiss” was “innocent”.
They said: “Danny and Maura insist it was totally innocent and nothing meaningful.They got on really well in the jungle and it’s just foolish that they let themselves get caught up in something after a big party night, especially so publicly.”
