Matthew Morrison confirms he’ll be working with Cheryl on The Greatest Dancer

The Glee star accidentally confirmed the news in a sweet birthday message

Matthew Morrison has confirmed that he will be working with Cheryl on new talent show The Greatest Dancer.

The Glee star accidentally confirmed the news when he commented on Cheryl’s Instagram post wishing her a Happy Birthday.

He commented, “So happy you were born! Look forward to getting to know you better this year!”

The 35-year-old has been linked to Simon Cowell’s new TV project since last year, and it’s rumoured that she’ll take on a mentoring role as a “dance captain”.

The Greatest Dancer, which is set to air on BBC, is currently in development and is set to air in early 2019.

Simon Cowell’s Syco production firm created the show’s format, and this will be the first time Simon has partnered up with the BBC after solely working with ITV for 14 years.

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that Cheryl’s boyfriend Liam Payne jetted home from the US to celebrate her 35th birthday on Saturday.

According to The Sun, the former 1D star was scheduled to perform at a radio station in Kansas until it was cancelled at the last minute, and he flew back to London to be with Cheryl and their one-year-old son Bear.

The day before her birthday, Cheryl celebrated her birthday with her former Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.
