Mark Wright has opened up about fatherhood after he recently welcomed a daughter with his wife Michelle Keegan, and described it as the “biggest achievement” of life.
The couple shared the happy news this week by posting a black and white snap of their newborn baby.
They captioned the post: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl 🤍 Palma Elizabeth Wright. 06.03.25.”
Speaking with friend and fellow dad Olly Murs on the Heart Breakfast show this morning, Mark gushed about the moment he first held his baby girl in his arms.
“Mate, it’s actually hard to put into words,” said the TV personality full of emotion.
He continued: “It’s the biggest achievement of my life its all I think about but obviously hats go off to my wife she is an absolute super human, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world.”
While praising Michelle, he explained that welcoming a baby with someone makes “you realise what our mums did for us…”
This also deepened the amount of respect he “already had” for his mother while also truly showing him “what women had to go through.”

“It’s the best feeling in the world. I wake up every morning just so excited to see her face,” he told the Troublemaker singer.
“I suppose everything else goes out the window and its made me realise what life is all about and my little baby Palma I love you so much and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
“It’s a very special feeling. I cant really put it into words. We’ve waited a little bit of time, we’ve chased our dreams and our careers and now we’re here. We’ve got a baby,” shared Mark.

The 38-year-old also joked about the lack of sleep he’s experiencing, and teased: “I am absolutely all over the shop I’m not gonna lie.”
“It feels like evening, it feels like breakfast but one things for sure I feel good I feel happy,” he added.
He said to Olly jokingly: “You’re 10 months in, I’m 10 days in so our eyes look slightly different.”
Olly welcomed a daughter, Madison, with his wife Amelia Tank in April of last year.

Michelle and Mark’s daughter’s name is a sweet nod to Palma in Mallorca, which is where they announced their pregnancy news to fans back in December.
The couple have previously told how Palma has become their “second home”, and is their “favourite place” to holiday.
During a trip to Mallorca late last year, Michelle shared snaps from their visit on Instagram alongside the caption: “Just a couple of days in our fave place before the Christmas build up begins.”
According to The Sun, the proud parents also chose Elizabeth for their daughter’s middle name as tribute to Michelle’s great-great grandmother.

During a previous appearance on the BBC series Who Do You Think You Are?, the actress discovered that her great-great grandmother, Elizabeth Kirwan, was part of the Suffragette movement.
Mark and Michelle started dating in 2012, before they eventually tied the knot at St Mary’s Church in Bury St Edmunds in 2015.
In 2023, the couple finished renovating their £3.5million Essex mansion, which they purchased in 2019.
