Malin Andersson reveals split from boyfriend following the loss of their baby daughter

Malin Andersson has revealed that she has split from her boyfriend, Tom Kemp following the loss of their baby daughter.

The newborn passed away in January after spending a month in intensive care and Malin has now revealed that she is no longer with Tom as their “relationship wasn’t healthy.”

“Things have been strained between us since Consy was born, a situation like that will either make you or break you and we’ve been at each other’s throats,” she told OK! Magazine.

“He deals with things completely differently to me, he bottles everything up and then eventually explodes, whereas I think it’s better to talk about everything. Our relationship wasn’t healthy so I’m taking myself out of it.”

Been absolute messes. But here is my ultimate Valentine ❤️

“It’s a massive comfort to think of my mum, Sophie and Consy, up there having a blast. Sophie and I both suffered from the same situation after Love Island.”

“Initially everybody loves you, but soon you’re cast aside and Sophie wasn’t able to take the rejection. She was the closest person to me on the show and I felt the loss of her more after Consy’s death.”

The reality star also opened up about spending time with her daughter and said: “I played with her hands and feet while she was in the incubator, but I couldn’t hold her. I also got involved in nappy changes and was expressing [breast milk] so that she could have my milk.”

Malin said that she felt “empty” following the loss of her baby and added: “I have a scar where my baby has been taken out of me but there is no baby. I am a mum without a baby. I couldn’t stop thinking, ‘why me?'”

The 26-year-old also revealed plans to create an app to help people struggling with their mental health: “I’m setting up an app called Consy UK that provides an Uber-like service for people with mental health issues so they can call on the help they need wherever they are.”

“I also hope to work with bereavement charities. I want to use my own suffering to help other people,” she added.

Malin and Tom started dating in January 2018, after the 26-year-old appeared on Love Island in 2016.
