Made in Chelsea‘s Sam Thompson said people living in Chelsea “aren’t very nice” after announcing his departure from the show.
Last month the reality star revealed that he is taking a break from the show after six years.
Sam opened up about the reason for his departure to OK! Magazine and said: “The crowd round here aren’t very nice – everyone is trying to be the next social thing.”
“I’ve never really been like that! I just like chilling with the guys instead of going where there’s going to be hot girls,” he continued.
Sam, who has appeared on Celebs Go Dating, also said that he matured in recent years: “I was super shallow back in the day, but not any more.”
“I went on a date with a girl recently and she was talking about parties and going out. I was thinking, you’re fit but I want to leave. I want to be inspired.”
