Love Island’s Lucie Donlan’s ex has been left “devastated” after he claims that he discovered that Lucie cheated on him via the reality TV show.
Freddie Hare had been in a relationship with Lucie last year, and told The Sun that he was not aware that she cheated on him while she was on a trip to Australia.
Earlier this week, contestants on Love Island played a game which revealed facts about each player.
One of Lucie’s facts read “I once cheated on a boyfriend while on a trip to Australia,” and the surfer confirmed that the fact was true.
Speaking to The Sun, Freddie said: “I’m devastated.”
“Lucie never admitted it to my face, she did it on national TV.”
“I had my suspicions but it was heartbreaking to find out I was right all along.”
Freddie claims that while on the month-long Aussie trip, Lucie did not make any contact with him, and on her return, they split after he declined to pick her up from the airport.
And the pair soon split on her return after Freddie refused to pick her up from the airport because she hadn’t spoken to him in a month.
“She was with someone else when I met her. I suppose it’s a bit of a recurring thing.”
