Toby Aromolaran has admitted he got in trouble with Love Island producers, after he accidentally punched a fellow Islander.
The 22-year-old was coupled up with Chloe Burrows on the hit dating show, and the pair finished in second place.
During a Q&A on Instagram, Toby opened up about his time in the famous villa, and revealed why he got told off by the show’s producers.
After a fan asked if he ever got in trouble on the show, Toby replied: “So I was good in there to be honest, compared to everyone else…”
“I only got in trouble one time, and that one time was when I punched Tyler on the face.”
The footballer then stressed he punched Tyler “by accident”, and that it wasn’t intentional at all.
Love Island has a strict no violence policy, which has cost former Islanders their place on the show in the past.
Back in 2019, bosses removed Sherif Lanre from the villa after he accidentally kicked fellow contestant Molly-Mae Hague in the groin during a play fight, which he jokingly called a “c**t punt”.
The news comes after Toby’s girlfriend Chloe Burrows recently admitted she was told off by producers for swearing too much in the villa.
