Love Island’s Sophie Piper and Connor Durman split just months after leaving the villa

Another one bites the dust...

Love Island’s Sophie Piper and Connor Durman have reportedly split – just six months after leaving the villa.

The pair coupled up during the show’s first winter series in January, and continued dating after leaving the villa.

But after spending months apart due to the coronavirus pandemic, Sophie and Connor have called time on their romance.

A source told The Sun: “Things just fizzled out. They never even went official.”

“It just didn’t have a chance to get started because of lockdown and they both agreed it was better to just stay friends.”

The news comes after Connor recently apologised for making racist comments in the past, amid the Black Lives Matter movement.

The 25-year-old released a statement, after a series of racist texts he sent to his ex-girlfriend Stevie-Leigh Pich started circulating on social media.
