Sam Bird has announced his engagement to Kailah Casillas after just eight months of dating.
The Love Island star has “all his eggs in one basket” with the 28-year-old, who appeared on MTV’s reality show The Challenge.
The couple announced the news on Instagram on Thursday, with Kailah sharing a photo of the engagement ring along with the caption: “I’m marrying my favourite person in the world.”
Sharing a close-up of the diamond on her Instagram Stories, she wrote: “I’m lucky.”
The couple went public with their relationship in January this year, after Sam appeared on Ex On The Beach: Peak of Love last year with his ex-girlfriend Georgia Steele.
The former Love Island couple called it quits in October 2018 amid accusations of cheating, and failed to make the relationship work a second time around on the MTV show.
Georgia previously opened up about her split with Sam, saying: “It wasn’t working, we were different people, but I really thought, ‘oh my God, people are only going to like me if we’re together’ because that’s what you’re renowned for.”
