Priya Gopaldas has revealed she went on a “date” with Brett Staniland after they left the Love Island villa.
During their time on the show, the 23-year-old rejected Brett after she brutally branded him “boring”.
Despite the awkward ending to their romance, Priya has admitted they met up for a “coffee date” when they got back to the UK.
Speaking to Bobby Norris in New magazine, Priya explained: “Yes it was a little coffee date.”
“A mate date! We are still friends and we’re chatting to each other.”
“I’m really glad we’re still in each other’s lives after Love Island, as I feel like we got on really well.”
While Priya admitted they get on well, she said there’s no chance they’ll rekindle their brief romance.
Since finding fame on Love Island, the 23-year-old has returned to work as a nurse.
