Marcel Somerville has revealed he still loves and misses his ‘Love Island’ girlfriend Gabby Allen.
The couple split when Marcel confirmed that he cheated on Gabby at the beginning of May.
Speaking to New Magazine, Marcel revealed that he has been trying to get in touch with Gabby, but she hasn’t responded.
Speaking about his breakup with Gabby, Marcel told the magazine, “I’m upset. I’m sad. Like, I made a mistake and there’s nothing I can do. Obviously, I regret it and I wish I could take it back, but I can’t.”
Gabby and Marcel met on last year’s series of Love Island, and continued dating after the show wrapped.
Although the couple came third in Love Island 2017, they were the firm favourites throughout the competition, and the longest dating couple in the house.
Speaking to Goss.ie earlier this month, Gabby talked about moving on from Marcel saying, “I’m moving forward with my life and focusing on all the positive stuff I’ve got going on.”
Gabby, 26, continued, “If I see people at events, that I don’t want to see [Marcel], I’ll just do this,” she laughed as she pretended to back away.
It is clear that Gabby is moving forward with her life, as she is currently holidaying with former Love Island contestant and gal pal Georgia Harrison in Bali.
