Following Joey Essex’s revelation on whether he will return to the island for the Love Island: All Stars series, Jessy Potts has addressed their split.
Seven weeks after leaving the Love Island villa together, the 25-year-old bombshell and the 34-year-old former TOWIE star announced their split in September.
During an Instagram Q&A session, Jessy responded to a fan, regarding her experience on the ITV show.
One fan asked: “Was going on Love Island worth it in your opinion?”
Jessy responded writing: “Absolutely!”
She continued: “It was the best thing I’ve ever done, without a doubt.”
“I had so much fun doing it, have been given incredible opportunities since leaving the villa and despite it not working on the outside, I did meet someone I liked and had the best summer ever with an amazing group of people.”
The couple, who met on the popular dating show this summer, confirmed their break up in a statement in September.
Joey told The Sun: “Unfortunately, we have decided to call an end to the relationship but I hope we can continue to be friends.”
“I truly wish Jessy the very best with whatever she does in the future.”
Jessy added: “I appreciate the Love Island experience I had with Joey, we tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be.”
“I’m so grateful to everyone who supported us and look forward to all of the exciting opportunities ahead.”
In Septmeber, Speaking exclusively to Goss.ie at the launch of Iconic Bronze’s latest tanning range, Joey addressed their split.

When asked about what happened between the pair, Joey said, “Unfortunately, we just parted ways. I wish her all the best.”
Despite his split from Jessy, Joey said an appearance on Love Island All Stars season two is “not in the pipeline right now.”
“Oh not right now, no, that’s not in the pipeline right now no.”
