Love Island’s Faye Winter slams co-stars for complaining about their portrayal on the show

Faye Winter has slammed fellow Love Island stars who have complained about their portrayal on the show.

Since leaving the villa, some Islanders have claimed producers purposely showed certain scenes to make them look bad – namely Jake Cornish.

During a new interview with Cosmopolitan, Faye said: “This gets to me because regardless of which scenes were aired, you still did those things… You are still that person and those things still left your mouth.”

“Own it and move on. If you’ve got to apologise, apologise,” she continued.

“If you’ve got to live up to it, live up to it. But don’t start blaming unaired scenes for that.”

The 26-year-old also spoke about her relationship with Teddy Soares, which is going from “strength to strength”.

“Life’s been mad. I don’t feel like I’ve had two minutes with my feet on the ground. It’s been a crazy rollercoaster, but one I’ve definitely enjoyed,” she said.

“Things with Teddy are incredible. Honestly, I can’t fault the man. He is amazing and we’re going from strength to strength.”

“It’s been very stressful, but it hasn’t affected us at all. It’s been stressful because I’d never been to London, there’s been lots going on.”

“‘I haven’t been able to go home to see friends and family much, even driving in and around London… It’s been stressful, but it hasn’t affected me and him, so you know you’re onto a good one when that happens.

“Not even any car journey arguments – that’s actually mad, isn’t it?”

The couple finished in third place on this year’s series of Love Island, which was won by Liam Reardon and Millie Court.
