Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has revealed how Maura Higgins really feels about her relationship with her ex Curtis Pritchard.
The couple struck up a romance on the latest series of Love Island All Stars, and have gone from strength to strength ever since.
Curtis was previously in a relationship with Irish star Maura when they met on Love Island in 2019, but they split just eight months later.

The pair didn’t exactly end on good terms, as Maura reportedly accused him of being unfaithful, which he denied.
Despite the previous drama between them, Ekin-Su has insisted there’s no bad blood.
The Turkish actress counts Maura as a friend, and revealed they even live in the same building.
“We shared the same guy, under the same roof almost,” Ekin-Su laughed.

“It’s not awkward,” she told The Sun.
“Actually, Maura is lovely and she is chilled about the situation. I’m chilled and we have all moved on.
“Maura is a friend of mine and Curtis says such lovely things about her and vice versa. We are all mature.”
Ekin also shut down claims her relationship with Curtis is a “showmance”, and revealed they’re about to take a huge step in their relationship.

“I’ve got respect for anyone’s opinions,” she said.
“I think everyone is entitled to think something and I can understand why they think that, because on the show we are theatrical people and when we come together, it is like a performance.
“But it’s not a showmance, it’s real. It just feels right. It feels healthy and I am myself.
“I am not on edge, I feel happy and I can be who I am with him, without walking on eggshells.”

“The next thing we’re doing is meeting his mum and dad, because we have been non-stop,” Ekin continued. “I really want to meet his mum Debbie, she sounds amazing.”
When asked if marriage might be on the cards, she giggled: “As long as I’m not proposing, I think yes.”
While Ekin is already thinking about marriage, the pair don’t want to rush into moving in together.
“I think it’s a bit too soon to move in and I’ve definitely learned from my previous relationship being in the public eye not to rush that sort of thing,” she said.

“I see him pretty much every day, and it’s nice to have your own space,” Ekin explained.
“It’s a mature relationship, and it’s healthy and feels right.
“I’m actually looking for a house in London so I can kind of be closer to him. It’s time to move away from Essex.”
