Ekin-Su was set to sign copies of her new book in Kent on Monday, with more dates in Manchester and Dublin this week.

However, the reality star’s reps cancelled all dates after she received threats online and her management was unhappy with the security in place.

A source told MailOnline: “Over the past week Ekin-Su has received a number of threats and sinister ‘gifts’ sent to her property which sparked her team to ensure the appropriate security was put in place for the book signings.”

“However these were not met, meaning they decided to pull the events, as the threats are freaking her out.”

“She’s become extremely unsettled by the threats and if assurances aren’t met, her team don’t want to take any risks.”

They continued: “A key concern was secretly surrounding the meet and greet aspect of the signing and it was a non-negotiable to have assurances in place before promoting the meet-ups.”

“Security is paramount for the team right now, following recent scares.”

“Ekin-Su has reached out to some of her fans personally to apologise and plans to reschedule,” they added.

In June, Ekin-Su vowed she was “done lying” about her split from Davide Sanclimenti when speaking about her memoir before it’s release.

The reality star confessed she will open up about childhood trauma, bullying and boyfriends as she discusses life after finding fame.

Ekin told The Sun at the time: “I’ve got a book coming out which is all about me and the people I’ve met in life.”

“You are going to know who I am. You’re going to know why I am the way I am.”

She continued: “From childhood traumas to extreme bullying to boyfriends continuously breaking my heart, why I felt abandoned. Why I was always closer to older people.”

“So it’s everything, my experience with Davide, there’s a lot in there.”

“I’m done hiding. I’m done lying and protecting other people, this is my truth.”

“There’s also advice to help if you feel like this, what can you do? Every chapter has an advice section.”

The reality star added: “And there is a letter that I wrote to myself at the end, it’s quite emotional.”

“I speak to the 10-year-old me in the book and told her all the things I wished someone had told me back then.”
