Love Island winner Paige Turley has confirmed she’s recording her first album.

The 22-year-old is gearing up to make her mark in the music industry, after winning Love Island’s first winter series earlier this year with boyfriend Finn Tapp.

Speaking to The Sun, a rep for Paige confirmed she’s been working hard in the studio, and she’s “really enjoying” the process.

A source also told the newspaper: “She’s really excited to be in the studio. She’s got a lot of ideas she’s working on.”

“She doesn’t know if the album will be pop or more dance, but it’s a case of getting in the studio and seeing what works at the moment.”

“The album won’t be out until next year – it’s very early days,” the insider added.

The reality star had a singing career before her time on the show, having made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2012.

And during her time in the Love Island villa, the blonde beauty performed Show Me Love during a talent show challenge.

Paige famously attended the same music college as Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi, and the pair dated on-and-off before calling it quits in 2016.

When Paige found fame on Love Island, many believed Lewis’ hit song Someone You Loved was written about her.

However, Lewis denied those claims during his hilarious appearance at the Brit Awards earlier this year.

He said: “Contrary to popular belief, a lot of people think this song is about my ex-girlfriend, who you can now see every night on Love Island…”

“It’s actually about my grandmother who has sadly passed away a few years ago. I hope to god that ITV don’t contact her to be on a reality TV dating show,” he added.

On the latest episode of Goss Chats, Ali Ryan sits down with Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn, who reveals the real drama between the women on the show, and how she battled coronavirus on her wedding day.

#GossChats is sponsored by top Irish aesthetic clinic Haus of JeJuve, which is now back open for bookings.
