Love Island stars Georgia Steel and Sam Bird have broken up, making them the fifth couple from this year’s series to split.
Sam announced their split on Twitter, just hours after the couple appeared loved-up at the ITV Gala in London.
The 25-year-old wrote, “I’m devastated to announce me and Georgia have split up for reasons I can’t bring myself to comment on at the moment. As always I wish her all the best.”

Georgia has yet to comment publicly on their split, but the news won’t come as a surprise to fans as many Love Island viewers branded their romance as “fake” during their time on the show.
The brunette caused serious drama in the villa when she kissed Jack Fowler, who was coupled up with Laura Anderson, while on a date.
Sam and Georgia’s split comes after the break-ups of their co-stars – Laura Anderson and Paul Knops, Laura Crane and Jack Fowler, Charlie Brake and Ellie Brown and Samira Mighty and Frankie Foster.
