Montana Brown has opened up about suffering a miscarriage.
The Love Island star revealed she fell pregnant last year while dating her former boyfriend Elliott Reeder, and that she was taking the contraceptive pill at the time.
Opening up about the news in her recent YouTube video, she told viewers: “I’ve been on the pill since I was about 15. I’m sometimes just a bit bad with taking it.
“To be fair, I’m now very particular with my pill because I got pregnant on the pill, last year.”
“It was so bad. I was shocked because I was like ‘no, surely not!’ and I remember I found out…
“It really was awful. To be fair it wasn’t that awful, because I naturally miscarried, but I was actually on the pill when it happened and I was so confused.”
Montana recalled visiting a friend and holding their baby, when she felt her breasts “spasm”, which made her friend convince the star to take a pregnancy test.
“I p**sed on the stick… and there was a very faint line. Then I got a Clearblue test and it was like ‘four to five weeks pregnant’ and I was like: ‘Brilliant!'”
Montana and Elliott split earlier this year, with Montana previously opening up on her YouTube channel about the split.
She admitted to feeling “down in the dumps” after the two-year-relationship ended, but had taken the time to focus on herself.
“I’m feeling pretty fresh. I mean, I wasn’t feeling fresh when it first happened don’t get me wrong. I was pretty down in the dumps.
“But everything happens for a reason and I’ve really been able to focus on myself, my personal growth and personal goals.”
