Jess Hayes has confirmed her split from her fiancé Dan Lawry.
The former couple, who share a son named Presley, sadly lost a baby boy at the end of November – after Jessica miscarried at 19 weeks pregnant.
Six months after her tragic miscarriage, Jess and Dan called it quits back in May.
During an interview with new! magazine, the former Love Island star explained: “We weren’t getting on as well as we used to and we didn’t want to be unhappy around Presley.”
“I’m not ruling out anything in the future, but right now we don’t work together.”
“I feel like for whatever reason it’s just not meant to be right now and we need time apart, whether that’s for a year, I just don’t know.”
“I’m just trying to put a positive spin on it,” she continued.
“Initially you’re devastated and heartbroken, but I feel like the universe always has a plan for you.”
“Things happen for a reason, really s**t reasons I know, but I’m just trying to live in the moment and trust in the process and the journey.”
The reality star admitted it had been a rough year between their split and the loss of their baby boy.
“Things just don’t work out as planned. To lose a baby and the person you thought you were going to have more children with and get married to, it’s been a bit of a shock,” the 28-year-old confessed.

The couple went on to welcome their now 2-year-old son Presley in 2019.
