Love Island’s Davide Sanclimenti has sparked rumours that he’s secretly married to his girlfriend Iris Au after posting an Instagram video with her daughter.
The 30-year-old shot to fame after winning season 8 of Love Island alongside Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu back in 2022.
The pair were known for their turbulent relationship both in and outside of the villa, and went their separate ways the following year after Ekin claimed Davide was unfaithful.
Davide then went public with Iris in January of this year, and shared a photo dump featuring them both with the caption: “Happy Lunar New Year! #JanuaryDump.”
She commented on the post: “Happy New Year Baby.”
Iris, known as EyeRize online, has two daughters, Paris (10) and Pia (11), from a previous relationship.
Davide has now posted a video titled “Pranking my stepdaughter” in which he’s pretending to be auditioning to be her and her sister’s male nanny.
This has caused fans to suspect that he married Iris on the down-low, and one fan commented: “OMG😂 She is so supportive of her stepdad…up to a certain point.”
Another wrote: “Hope she knows she has an iconic stepdad🙃.”
This relationship comes after Davide was reportedly furious at Ekin-Su’s decision to appear on Love Island: All Stars.
A source claimed to Closer: “Davide is absolutely furious about Ekin-Su’s decision to join Love Island All Stars.”
The source continued: “He feels like Ekin-Su’s decision shows a complete lack of emotional empathy; not just for him, but for everything they went through as a couple. He can’t believe she’d jump at the chance without considering how it might look.”
Davide reiterated these claims after he responded to fans’ criticism of Ekin’s appearance on Love Island.
Under a post of Davide skiing, a fan wrote: “‘Bro stay strong when she’s on tv kissing loads of wee boys.”
Davide responded: “I really hope she does 🤣🤣, at least she will leave me alone and stop talking about me once and for all 🥳🥳.”
