Love Island alum Megan Barton-Hanson has spoken out against contestant Joe’s behavior towards partner Lucie.
The pair, collectively known as Jucie by fans, have been having some trouble in the villa, as last night Joe took issue with Luice speaking to contestant Tommy Fury.
Luice has also been distanced from the rest of the female contestants, and has previously fallen out with air hostess Amy, after she explained that she felt that Lucie spent all of her time in the house with Joe.
Last night, Joe confronted Lucie for having a conversation with Tommy.
“The whole thing with Tommy…it is just strange,” Joe told Lucie. “You walked off with him and you were with him for like an hour.”
He also said that he would not be okay with this scenario happening in the outside world – despite Lucie telling him they were just friends.
Joe went on to encourage her to make friends with the other girls rather than Tommy.
His actions ruffled quite a few feathers online, as fans branded his behavior as “controlling.”
Former Love islander Megan also took to her social media to express her thoughts.

“Urgh, Joe is so jarring. ‘It’s time to be friends with the girls’ feel so bad for her,” she wrote.
“Can see right through him.”
Other echoed her thoughts online, with one tweet reading: “It’s hard to watch how manipulative and controlling Joe is trying to be over Lucie.”
Another said: “I actually feel sorry for Lucie, as if Joe is basically telling her she can’t have male friends?”
Love Island return tonight at 9pm, where viewers will see which couple will be voted off the island by the other contestants.
