Love Island 2021 contestant Kaz Kamwi has revealed she’s “used to” online trolling.
The fashion blogger already had a large online platform before she was confirmed for the popular dating show, which kicks off on June 28, and currently has over 71.4k followers om Instagram.
When asked whether she thinks her social media following gives her an advantage on the show, the 26-year-old told The Mirror: “The reality is with social media, my audience might not even watch the show!”
“The only thing I might be used to is receiving negative comments from loads of people at one time and just learning not to take it personally, just let people have their moment but shake it off, just be myself and be kind.”
Kaz admitted she “wouldn’t rule out” having sex while on the show, and she has even discussed the possibility of it happening with her mum.
“It’s not something I’m necessarily looking to run towards or run away from,” she said. “I think sex is an important part of any relationship and I just think everyone needs it.”
“If I’m with the right person and the moment feels right I wouldn’t rule it out but it’s not like a definite yes or no. The only rule mum said is just to be myself.”
“She trusts my judgement, she trusts me, she says if I can trust myself the way she trusts me, she isn’t worried. So that’s the only rule – just to be me and enjoy every moment and not to overthink and not to focus too much on, ‘Oh I should have done this’.”

Kaz described herself as a “girls girl”, and revealed her biggest turn-off is “nonchalance”.
“I am a princess, hun! I like a man who takes charge! When I date guys I’m quite direct where my standards are and then when they don’t meet them I’m like, ‘Oh boy, bye’.”
“But they don’t take the ‘boy bye’ seriously so they keep coming back and I’m dodging them all – they can’t stay away!”
Love Island begins on Monday, June 28 at 9pm on ITV2 and Virgin Media One.
