Louise Redknapp to release new music for the first time in 16 years

Louise Redknapp is set to release new music for the first time in 16 years.

The 44-year-old was part of R&B group, Eternal from 1993 to 1995, before she left the group to embark on her solo career.

After taking a 16 year break, Louise has revealed her comeback with a brand new album.

The mother-of-two took to Instagram to announce the news and wrote: “So… after 16 years away from music I am so excited to reveal details of my new album ‘Heavy Love’, which you can pre-order now”.

“The exclusive first play of the first song from the album ‘Stretch’ is on Radio2 Breakfast show tomorrow morning after 8am. I can’t wait to share this new music with you all! Thanks for all the support over the last 26 years! It’s good to be back! Love Lou xxx” she finished.

The album’s release date is 18th October and Louise’s new song is set to be released Tuesday 26th March.
