Louise Redknapp confirms she’s returning to 9 to 5: The Musical after suffering ‘nasty’ fall

The singer was forced to temporarily step down from her role

Louise Redknapp has confirmed that she is returning to 9 to 5: The Musical, after suffering a ‘nasty’ fall back in January.

The 44-year-old fractured her wrist and needed 10 stitches in her chin after her fall – but will return to her role later this month.

The singer announced the news on Instagram, writing, “So it’s now official. I am going to be rejoining the west end cast of @9to5themusicaluk on Monday 25th March until 29th June. Hope to see you there!”

After Louise was advised by doctors to take a break from the show, she was replaced by Caroline Sheen during her absence.

The actress will return to Dolly Parton’s West End musical as Violet Newstead alongside co-stars Amber Davies and Natalie McQueen.

The musical has received great reviews so far, and Love Island star Amber starred in a spin-off show alongside Dolly Parton to follow her journey to The West End.
