Louis Tomlinson shuts down ‘bull****’ rumours about One Direction’s split

He isn't holding back...

Louis Tomlinson has shut down rumours about One Direction’s split.

The singer chose to speak out after he came across an article that claimed the band was ripped apart by “rivalry and hatred”.

The article featured the headline “Drugs, Meltdowns and ‘Gay Sex’ Rumors—How ‘Rivalry and Hatred’ Tore One Direction Apart.”

Marking nine years since the band was formed on The X Factor, the author wrote about One Direction’s rise to fame, but also made some shocking claims about the bandmates.

The author also pointed out a theory that the ‘Larry Stylinson’ fan fiction, which depicted Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles as lovers, pushed them apart.

Shutting down claims made in the article, Louis tweeted: “Biggest load of bulls**t I’ve seen in a while.”

“Typical unprovoked venom from The Mirror. Couldn’t be further from the truth.”

Before he slammed those “bulls**t” rumours, Louis had thanked 1D fans for their love and support over the years.

He wrote on Twitter: “So many incredible memories. Days like today are days for reflection, so proud looking back! Thank you for ALWAYS having our backs! Big love to the lads! #9YearsOfOneDirection.”
