Jade Thirlwall has revealed that she considered getting a “boob job” after comparing herself to her bandmates.
The Little Mix star opened up about her body image issues during a new interview with Cosmopolitan, and said she used to feel like a “boy” standing next to her bandmates Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
“I [always] felt like a boy next to everyone [else]. I didn’t have a very womanly shape and I’ve got no tits,” Jade said.
“I’ve kind of grown into myself a little bit now but I used to want a boob job. I [felt] that I wasn’t sexy enough in the band.”

“I still have that complex now when I go on dates. I think, ‘Am I woman enough for someone?’ which is silly.”
During the same interview, Jade’s bandmate Leigh-Anne also expressed her own insecurities.
“Being in a girl band, the first thing I did was compare myself to the other girls,” she said.
“Jade and I wanted nose jobs. I can’t believe I thought like that. I love my nose. I think it’s age as well – you just have to learn to love yourself more.”
