Lily James was ‘shocked’ when Dominic West put on a united front with his wife

Lily James was reportedly “shocked” when Dominic West put on a united front with his wife Catherine FitzGerald last week.

Last Monday, Lily and Dominic raised eyebrows when they were papped packing on the PDA in Italy – sparking concerns for Dominic’s marriage.

However just one day later, Dominic and his Irish wife Catherine insisted they are very much still together. 

A source close to Lily has since told E! News: “She’s mortified and embarrassed by the entire thing.”

“She was shocked when she saw the photos and his story that he is happily married.”

“She wants it all to go away and is just laying low hoping it will pass quickly,” the insider added.

Over the past few days, Lily has remained silent over the scandal – and has cancelled a number of press interviews. 

However, the actress made an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night – but as expected, she didn’t address the drama between her and Dominic.
