Lily Allen has revealed that she slept with female escorts while on tour.
The singer stated that she paid for sex with female escorts in 2014.
The 33-year-old revealed the news on Instagram after she found out that her autobiography, ‘My Thoughts Exactly’, had been leaked.
“Sooo, in my book ‘My Thoughts Exactly’ (out on 20th Sept) I detail some stuff from my dark days, around the Sheezus era,” Lily told fans.
“I slept with female escorts when I was on tour, cause I was lost and lonely and looking for something. I’m not proud, but I’m not ashamed. I don’t do it anymore,” she continued.
“The Mail are gonna run with the story tomorrow cause someone leaked it, and they’re bound to make sound worse than it was. Just wanted to give you Er, the ‘heads up’!” she finished.
The singer also revealed the e-mail she received from someone warning her about the autobiography leak.
Many fans rushed to the comments of her Instagram post to show their support.
“Your the Woman Lily ???? we are wit you baby x” one fan wrote.
“I wouldn’t worry! We’ve all done things in life we look back on and think ‘what was I doing!’ but it made you who you are today so be thankful for it! ????” another said.
‘My Thoughts Exactly’ is set to be released on September 20th.
