Liam Payne’s sister Ruth Gibbins marked six months since the singer’s death with an emotional tribute.
The One Direction singer tragically fell to his death from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires last October, aged just 31.
In a post on Instagram, Ruth wrote: “Six months, half a year without you? My head is still screaming for you.”

“Each morning on waking I feel like I am plunged underwater, gasping for air that never comes to relieve me. Living without you is impossible, so for now, I exist.”
“I’m learning to laugh or smile in the right places, but mate, it’s exhausting when all I want to do is speak to you.”
“In the few moments I allow myself to feel love and not just loss, I can really smile at memories of us, like last year when we were doubled over laughing at us trying to make something we’d seen on YouTube, but memories are always tinged with sadness at how unfair it is that we can’t make new ones.”
“I can sometimes hear you laughing at me for walking around like Whoopi Goldberg in Ghost, looking for you everywhere I go.
“I see you though, you’re always coming through in different ways to put me back on the right path. I can’t process what’s happened and the finality of it, you know I will never stop doing all I can for you.”
“I miss you loudly, quietly and in all the moments in between. Love you so much more than these words or my tears are capable of expressing, but I know you know this. For now, I’ll meet you in my dreams.”
The sweet tribute comes after the One Direction stars girlfriend Kate Cassidy revealed the chilling final words Liam Payne said to her.
Speaking to Jay Shetty on the latest episode of his podcast On Purpose, Liam’s girlfriend recalled the last thing he said to her before she left Argentina to fly back to Florida a few days before he died.
She said: “I remember sitting there with him and I was going on and on and on about how much I love him, and he laughed and interrupted me and was like: ‘Kate you’re gonna miss your flight your car is in the driveway.’
Liam then said: “You’re acting like this is the last time you are ever gone see me again.”
Kate explained: “I just laughed back. But to look back in time and know that that was the last time I was ever going see him again is just so chilling.”
However, Kate confessed: “I am so blessed that it was that heartfelt goodbye. Our last goodbye I wouldn’t have wanted it to be any differently.
“I am so glad we had that beautiful time together and I wouldn’t change that.”
