Lauren Goodger reveals she turned down the chance to be on Love Island

The reality star said she now regrets her decision

Lauren Goodger has revealed that she once turned down the chance to be on Love Island.

The reality star rose to fame on The Only Way Is Essex, but admitted that she’s been tempted by other shows in the past.

In her Now magazine column, she confessed, “I actually got asked to do the show back in 2015, when I was ripped and a proper gym freak, but I was in a relationship so couldn’t.”

The former TOWIE star also added that she wished she took the opportunity.

“Looking back, now I wish I had. I absolutely love the show and would’ve loved to be a part of it,” she said.

This year, the famous dating show has gained over three million viewers in it’s first week.

Celebrities including Holly Willoughby and Liam Gallagher have admitted that they love the popular show.

Speaking to Love Island host Caroline Flack on the spin-off show Aftersun, Holly said, “I’ll pay for my own flights and accommodation if we can come over and film something for This Morning.”

Liam also tweeted that he would rather watch Love Island than perform at musical festival Glastonbury.
