Fellow Corrie actress, Jane Danson, who plays Leanne Battersby on the soap, joined her on the mic for a sing-song.

The singer joined Hear’Say on TV show Popstars in 2001, but left in 2002 after a dispute with bandmates.

Kym gathered with her fellow soap stars over the past weekend to say bye-for-now after her 13-year stint on the show.

It isn’t the end of the road for her character though, as Kym vowed to return to the show after taking a break.

“When I was lucky enough to be offered four episodes I could never in my wildest dreams have thought I’d be here 13 years later,” she said.

“It’s been an incredibly difficult decision but it feels like the right time for me to explore some other roles.”

“But this isn’t the last you’ve heard of Michelle Connor – she’ll be back! I can’t wait to see what the writers have in store for the future.”
