Katie Price ‘furious’ with ex Dwight Yorke – as he fails to contact seriously ill son Harvey

The former couple's son is currently in intensive care

Katie Price is reportedly “furious” with her ex Dwight Yorke, as he’s failed to get in contact with his seriously ill son, Harvey.

The 18-year-old, who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, was rushed to hospital on Sunday night – and has been in intensive care ever since.

Despite Harvey’s serious illness, his biological father hasn’t tried to contact him or Katie to get an update on his son’s health.

A source told The Sun: “Katie’s furious – she can’t believe that Dwight didn’t even bother calling to check on his son.”

“Harvey is fighting for his life and is suffering serious health issues and Dwight’s just ignoring the whole situation. It’s very upsetting for Katie. She’s not happy.”

Katie’s representative also said: “I can confirm that Dwight has not contacted Katie enquiring after Harvey’s health.”

“Katie is naturally upset but has had to accept that he doesn’t want to be a father to his son Harvey.”

In a post shared on Instagram today, Katie told fans: “I can confirm Harvey still in intensive care, he is more comfortable, it’s hard as due to limited visiting hours and covid I can’t be by his bed side, but he is being brave and strong, and able to face time him, I’ve let him know he has so much love and support and thank you ???? ❤️❤️.”

Katie fell pregnant with Harvey back in 2001, and Dwight initially denied being Harvey’s father.

A paternity test later proved that he was, but the footballer decided not to be part of Harvey’s life.

Just last year, Katie begged Dwight to get in touch with his son on her YouTube channel.

She said: “What I would like to do is turn up to his dad’s place – Dwight Yorke’s – ring on the doorbell and be there with Harvey, for him to see Harvey.

“That’s what I would like to do and I will do that. I think Dwight should start entering Harvey’s life, it’s been years. How long has it been? Harvey was four when he last saw him.”

On the latest episode of Goss Chats, Ali Ryan chats to Ronan Keating about his star-studded upcoming music special, and working with Robbie Williams on a special new song dedicated to Stephen Gately.
