Katie Price has broken her social media silence, after she was allegedly assaulted last week.
The former glamour model was taken to hospital after the incident, which took place at her home in Essex.
The mum-of-five has been noticeably absent from social media since the alleged attack, but took to Instagram today to pay tribute to Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding – who sadly died aged 39.

Katie wrote: “I’m devastated to hear my friend, @sarahnicoleharding has passed. You were always such a genuine and honest person, I will remember the all laughs we used to have back in the day…”
“I always valued Sarah’s friendship and my thoughts go out to her family and friends. ❤”
Katie has turned comments off on the post.
On August 23, a 32-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour after an incident in Katie’s home.
Katie was taken to hospital with facial injuries after the alleged attack, and her engagement ring, which was given to her by her fiancé Carl Woods, was reportedly stolen.
Opening up about the alleged attack, Katie told The Sun: “I’ve got a big bruise, my face is all puffy, and I went to hospital. I’m still all dazed. I’m devastated.”
“I’ve told police that I was assaulted, and am in shock that this happened. I ran away after being punched — I ran to Harvey’s house nearby and have now done damage to my feet, which I previously injured.”
“The fight was unprovoked — I was just sitting there watching telly when the assault happened. I can’t say any more,” she added.
The suspect has been bailed until September 20.
