Jess Glynne let fans down this weekend, when she pulled out of a performance at Isle of Wight festival with minutes to spare.
The singer has been touring with The Spice Girls, as she warmed up crowds as the opening act for the girl band.
The singer cited exhaustion and anxiety for her inability to perform in an apology, saying: “I came all the way I got ready and was about to head to stage but I just couldn’t do it.”
“I was incredibly weak and full of anxiety.”
Speaking to The Mirror, Isle of Wight festival organiser John Giddings said:
“She will never be booked to play the Isle of Wight again.”
“It shows no regards for people that bought a ticket.”
“It’s so sad that an artist would do that to their fans. She’s let them down.”
The Mirror claims that the singer partied until 7am the night before her performance.
