Jack Fincham has admitted he has “a lot of regrets” over his split from Dani Dyer.
The pair coupled up on the first episode of Love Island in 2018 and remained together until the end of the season, eventually winning the £50,000 prize.
Once the show ended, their relationship went from strength to strength with the couple moving in together shortly after they returned to the UK.
Dani and Jack parted ways in December 2018, then got back together briefly before finally splitting for good in April 2019, leaving fans devastated.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Steven Sulley Study podcast about the relationship, Jack admitted: “There’s a lot of things I regret with Dani.”
“She’s beautiful, she was lovely. So, if I could turn back the hands of time I’d be less selfish and start taking other people’s feelings into consideration.”
“Because in my head it would be, ‘I ain’t doing nothing wrong, I’m going out, I’m going out. What’s the matter with you?’ But really, they want to spend time with you.”
“How nice is that, that someone wants to spend time with you, and now I’m on my own…” he added.
Commenting on a TikTok video of the interview, shared by @minbosa, fans called for Jack and Dani to give their romance another go.
One fan wrote: “Dani should give him another chance,” while another penned: “Imagine they got back together.”
After their relationship ended, Jack welcomed his first child with close friend Casey Ranger – a baby girl named Blossom.
Dani rekindled her romance with ex Sammy Kimmence, and the couple welcomed a baby boy named Santiago in January this year.
But in July, Dani split from Sammy after he pleaded guilty to five counts of fraud and was handed a 42 month prison sentence, which he must serve at least half of.
