I’m a Celeb spin-off host, Joe Swash, was rushed to A&E after he discovered a cockroach was burrowed in his ear.
The I’m a Celebrity… Extra Camp presenter revealed he suffered every campmates’ worst nightmare, after one of the creepy crawlies set up camp in his ear.
Joe took to his Instagram Story to share his dilemma: “So, we’re just on the way to the hospital to get a cockroach sucked out of my ear. All the perks of this job, eh!”
The 36-year-old seemed his upbeat self, as he joked on social media and said: “Just walking up to the hospital. Still can’t quite believe that I’ve got an animal that’s living in my ear-roll.”
The drama didn’t stop there though, because Joe was told by the doctor, that he would have to wait another day with the insect in his ear.
“Just got out the hospital. Doctor said they can’t get the cockroach out my ear. I’ve got to see a specialist tomorrow so they can use some special equipment on it,” the father-of-one revealed.
Joe isn’t the only I’m a Celeb host to be rushed to hospital during the series, as just last week his co-host, Joel Dommett, suffered a head injury after a piece of equipment fell on him during stormy conditions.
