I’m A Celeb rocked by Covid-19 outbreak – just DAYS before final

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has been rocked by an outbreak of Covid-19, just days before the final.

The grand finale of the series is set to air this Sunday, November 27.

There are five celebrities remaining in the jungle, all vying for the coveted title of either King or Queen of the Jungle.

According to The UK Sun, show bosses have increased the safety measures – which includes wearing face masks at all times, after two crew members tested positive for the virus earlier in the week.

An insider told the publication: “Everyone is on high alert given it is so close to the end of the series.”

“The producers have grand plans to make the final bigger than ever so no one is seen without a mask and there have been loads more people queueing up to get themselves tested on site.”

“The team also closed down the night shift tent which sells snacks and drinks to the crew in order to give it a deep clean.”

“Safety is paramount on a show of this scale and bosses are sure that the strict measures they have in place will mean that the final will still go ahead as planned,” the source continued.

An I’m A Celeb spokesperson said: “We can confirm a couple of production team members have tested positive for coronavirus.”

“The protocols we have in place for such an eventuality have been implemented and filming has continued as we adhere to all covid guidelines.”

On Thursday night, Chris Moyles became the sixth celebrity to be voted off I’m A Celeb.
