Holly Willoughby has been targeted by cruel trolls for backing LGBT education in schools.
The TV presenter, who is mum to three kids, shared her support for LGBT-inclusive education on Instagram, and tagged LGBT support charity Stonewall.
She captioned the post: “Now is the time to speak up for LGBT-inclusive education. Different Families. Same Love.”
While many praised the 38-year-old for supporting the movement, Holly’s post attracted some awful comments on Instagram.
One person commented: “Leave kids alone, stop brainwashing them. Let them be children. This is disgusting.”
Another wrote: “This is disgusting!! My son will NEVER go to a school where they teach this stuff as normal! If it comes to it he will be home schooled. What Britain is turning in to is absolutely frightening.”
In response to the hateful comments, many defended Holly for speaking out about LGBT-inclusive education.
One Instagram user commented: “Just wow….if all these comments don’t prove the need to change our education system to include LGBT….then I don’t know what does!!!!”
“You’re all just proving the point of how desperately this country needs educating!!! Carry on!!”
