Holly Willoughby says that her new role on I’m A Celeb will be ‘a complete disaster’

Holly Willoughby has said that her new role on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! will be “a complete disaster.”

The television presenter has been confirmed at Ant McPartlin’s replacement for the upcoming series of I’m a Celeb, as she’ll take on co-hosting duties alongside Declan Donnelly.

The 37-year-old and her This Morning co-host, Phillip Schofield, spoke about her new presenting role on Good Morning Britain and said: “It’s going to be a complete disaster.”

Phillip joked that the mother-of-three can’t even deal with a fly, let alone the sort of creatures that she’ll encounter in Australia.

“But anyway I’m doing it and I’m completely excited about it and, obviously leaving Phil at any point is horrible but…” Holly said, excitedly.

While Holly is off in Australia for her newest job opportunity, Phillip will continue to host This Morning with a stand-in presenter.

The pair revealed that there is already a replacement confirmed for the mother-of-three, as she said: “He’s in very safe hands. Whenever I leave him I want to make sure he’s looked after and he’s with somebody and it’s all nice.”

Although the launch date for I’m a Celeb has yet to be officially confirmed, it’s suspected that the reality show will kick off in mid-November.
