Harry Potter stars ‘planning Friends-style reunion show’

The cast of the Harry Potter film franchise are reportedly planning a ‘Friends-style’ reunion show – twenty years after the first film was released.

According to sources, an event is being planned at Warner Brothers Studios in London this month that will include major stars of the popular films with hopes they can be interviewed for a special documentary.

An insider told The Sun on Sunday: “The proposed show is being shrouded in secrecy as franchise bosses want to get talent locked in first. It would be amazing if they pull it off and they have offered big money to the cast to reunite.”

“Many of the actors have moved on, but the movies launched them to superstardom. They all have lots of fond memories from their time filming together. Everyone is hopeful it will happen,” the source added.

Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson shot to international fame after playing Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger in all eight films.

It comes after the success of the HBO Max Friends special earlier this year – which saw Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry reunite for an emotional hour-long unscripted show.
