The actress starred as Margaret Thatcher in the latest season of the hit Netflix show, receiving high praise for her performance by fans.
Marking her co-star Olivia Colman’s birthday on Saturday, the 52-year-old took to Instagram to share a series of funny photos of the pair.
She wrote: “Happy birthday Queenie 🎂”, making reference to Olivia’s role as Queen Elizabeth II in the series.

The news comes after Olivia shared a clip of the cast of The Crown dancing to Lizzo’s hit track Good As Hell while in full costume.
Speaking about the now-viral video while appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Gillian admitted the clip was “never meant to see the light of day”.
“It was so humiliating, the look on my face – such delight and shame all at once,” she added.
